NatHazMonitoring has moved…
The focus of this blog has changed over the year or so that it has been active and it has morphed into more of an all-round natural hazards news blog. It was started as an off-shoot from my media monitoring research but is now a blog almost entirely concerned with highlighting natural hazards news and research. So, it was decided to move nathazmonitoring to a new, and more fitting, address – naturalhazardsnews.wordpress.com.
All the content from the old blog has been transferred over and from now on new posts willONLY be posted on the new blog, naturalhazardsnews.wordpress.com.
The focus of the new blog will continue to be an up-to-date catalogue of natural hazards in the news but it will also feature updates on my current research project at the British Red Cross, more info on which can be found here, and a lot more in-depth analyses and follow-up reporting on individual natural hazard events.
Nathazmonitoring has received over 10,000 hits and lots of people have shown an interest in the work through comments and contact. I hope you all like the new blog (it’s almost exactly the same as the old one!) and continue to read.
